Crikey! Of course he has frets on his guitar - Its a JS1200CA for crying out loud! Also, Whammy pedal? Take a look - he is the king of harmonics and none of these are with a whammy pedal - in fact later on in the gig when he is rocking out with Vai and Malmsteen he fudges one up!In regards to him using a Whammy pedal elsewhere - he uses it a great deal - most notably in the chorus of Searching on his 'Is There Love In Space' album - hes good with this pedal too!
