Sridevi made Yash Chopra. He was unsuccessful from 1975 till 1989...when Blockbuster CHANDNI happened. He says in this video, that movie actually gave him strength for all that followed Yashji reached in the penacle of his career was after Chandni and Lamhe. He idn't have any successful films in the 80s, Silsila bombed at the box office, it was only Chandni which gave his first it of 80s. he had no successes after 1975.
