i first heard this when i was very little in A Room with a View and me and my mother would always sing along to it (even though we didn't know what any of it meant).

This is Kanawa performing, not Fleming. Fleming sounds like butter.

Puccini's music complements the beauty and romance of renaissance Florence. I hope my grandaughter will share my love for this most wonderful place.

is this the whole song?

Definitely not Kiri Te Kanawa.I have compared Renee Fleming's recorded performance of this piece and what is posted above, and I am pretty sure they match. (Just search on here for renee fleming o mio babbino caro, it should lead you to it).

Does anybody know the lady who is singing this actual version? As it's the most beautiful version i've come across.
