fucking ausome song - semi reminds of how nirvana sounded for a bit, one of the greatest artist to live - so deep and personal sucking u into the song and making it so much better - cool song

When I listen to this I'm hearing a very desperate cat being swing by its claws in a very small room...its not the lyrics that are the problem its his incredibly screechy voice..but hey thats just my opinion... again :-) I just LOVE freedom of speech !

RonniWest, of course it's not their own number. Re-read my first entry. But what they've done with this song is their own work and it's very firmly their own number in that sense. It's not just a straight cover version like for example, the Jam doing Heatwave or Move On Up. Pop / rock music performers commonly dream of coming up with something that will be thought of as a classic, that won't be forgotten in say 10 years' time. I'd say the White Stripes have got their classic with this one.

I can really understand someone saying that. It's a love it or hate it thing with the voice effects. When I listen to this, I'm hearing a very desperate woman almost going out of her mind, screaming and pleading. It's like if she loses her man, she'll take her life because there's nothing more to live for. It's a piece of emotional art.

Oooh this is horrible. The White Stripes are a brilliant band but this version is just plain nasty! But hey thats just my opinion :-)
