the longer you spend the better it works/longer it lasts. If you repeat to them to keep cycling the sensations and that it gets stronger as they stand it helps. Notice how Derren says even "as you stand you can double it." It hit people the most when I did it right before they stood up and as they stood up...but I couldn't get it to last very long with most people.
