was thinking the exact same thing, this song is my guilty pleasure because it takes a lot from what a fool believes

You cant really sense sarcasm on a post,,, but you are kidding right ??

id just like to add in terms of outfit/dance/looks its 1000000x more honest than any modern:current pop music will be

Alright this is one of my alltime songs, yet robbie you really cant dance, though that makes this vid more enduring to me. I get a kick out of the fact that at the time one of his buds/grouppies prob told him that 'he has some great moves.

The singer has fantastic stage presence. He is all over that stage.

Are you sure? He may have done ghost backing and wasn't credited for it. He did a lot of backing vocals in the late seventies and early eighties. His voice is pretty distinctive.

But the thing is ... M/M didn't sing backup!

And the fact that Micheal McDonald is singing back ups on it doesn't hurt. But I was thinkin the same thing kind of. I know they're not the same song but my friend started singin this song and I instantly thought of Fools Believe. Funny shit.

Hey, guess what ... this really isn't like "Fools Believe" at all. Listen to the two songs ... both have their own signature - is probably cause they are from the same era - that they have the same kind of "easy going" style.

You are correct! I heard this on the radio yesterday and thought for at least 2 minutes that it was What a Fool Believes...kept waiting for the chorus that never came. |
