The water isn't the power source, it's the battery!!So all you've done is take potential energy from the battery ( or battery charger) and transform it into chemical energy, with great losses.In a car you must have an independent energy source. In a car you can't just plug in your battery charger!The engine is supposed to charge the battery, not the other way around.

in about 10 yrs this is how our engines will combust and we will have no use for gasoline. i dont know if the mogals will ever allow this though.
