Hi Im Bob Geldof, of Boomtown Rats fame, thanks for helping me single handily eradicate third world debt on my own, whilst having a really rudimentary understanding of the convoluted and highly complex economic situation in Africa, give me your fucking money, or ill begin making music again.

say what you will about geldof, i personally don't agree with some of the things he's done, but he is not a political animal. he sincerily believes in what he does and is willing to sit down with george bush and tony blair if he has to to get things done. saying "fuck bush" in the loudest voice doesn't get you anywhere.

hatefull little twats the pair of them if they love africa so much y don't they fuck off and live there. fuck africa what has africa done 4 england, who in the world helps england out when there was all the flooding?

Thats not true. Both of them spent a lot of time in Africa. After Live Aid, Bono and Ali spent a year in Africa without any fanfare, working with the locals. Geldof spent a lot of time in Africa also. Dont hate them for giving a damn. And if they dont, and do only want the free publicity, whatever works, my friend. They use their celebrity to bring awareness to the plight of the country. Not such a bad trade off.
