America is going down the tubes, no doubt. It is disturbing reminder to me, a person who has researched his fair share of past empires, how similar our history is coming about when compared to Rome, or Great Britian (the empire). They spread themselves too thin, and then external enemies and internal social problems ate away at their strength. What I fear is that in this late date in human history when America crashes it's not just going to fall out of power, but perhaps something far worse.

Well I only state "every economist and politicologist with me" since every one of those that has been in the media or at my uni last weeks has confirmed that. The US digged their own graving thinking they can rule the world forever conquering nations here and there and implying their economic rules on everybody. Perhaps you havent noticed, but all your former "colonies", i.e. South-America, Africa and Asia, in other words every growing economy, have turned their back on the US...

What do Nimitz Subs matter?China is one of the few growing economies this year. While the US has a recession of -0.3 percent, Chinese economy grows with 9.4 percent. Their wages have risen 15% last 3 years while the income of the 10% richest has diminished 5%. Their standard tanks and firearms are newer models than the US ones and they have 3 soldiers for every american 1.

The Germans were already falling back by the time the US got in Europe. The Soviets had beaten them and all America did was speed things up and made things easier (for which I am very thankful, nevertheless, they freed my country). But the only reason is because they didn't want Europe to become Soviet, not to beat the nazis. In fact many American big companies supported the nazis.Ths US nuked out japan too, because they didn't want the soviets to come and help.

Ok full out World War if America got the jump on anyone everyone else would be DEAD. Would that be the smartest decision NO. But the FACT is we could nuke and kill the rest of the worlds population within an hour. Any other country have Nimitz Subs ummmm NO. Once again your Wrong and deluded. China has tons and tons of people but do they have the wealth of the US? NO do they have a lower class of people that can be millionaires with hard work and smarts Um NO.

ehh I got nothing else to do lets debate. First wouldn't everyone who lost a vote by a slim margin want a REVOTE? why yes. hey if Nader hadn't run would more people of voted for Gore yes. Your whole elections rigged and BS is rEdiculous and you know it. Bush was the more electable candidate even though he wasn't the best decision. And if you think Clinton didn't win fair and square once again your a deluded foreigner that knows nothing of America

and richest country is not the same as richest people. If the 10% richest have an enormous shitload of money it's easy to raise the statistics. According to statistics the US has relatively more poor people than any industrialised western country. On the other hand there are so many rich people with so much money the medium is quite high.Don't call my comments deluded if you only reply by some "general truths" without any proof or argument.
