I've been listening to her since I was about 14 or so. I will be 30 next year. It was the only thing my Mother and I could agree with in the car. She is so lovely,classy,elegant,sensual and spiritual. This song is about gang violence and the woman makes it sound transcendental! I saw her in Los Angeles back in 2001 or so. her stage was just background colors and 2 large screens.Her voice in real life and all the love flowing from the crowd. Incredible. She hardly ever tours;quality vs. quantity
