yes, but i believe we are moving in that direction. i don't trust obama, neither the other one for that matter. our civil rights are being taken away incrementaly, and most americans don't even realize it as they don't even bother to excercise their rights anyway.

There have been plenty of papers written on these issues, no-one has vanished because of it. I'm the first to cast a stone at what we've become, but you are going overboard.There are plenty of voices of dissent and difference. Our country was recently split nearly in half over our elections. Do you know what actually goes on here or do you just think you're clever?You speak of owning a desire for difference, yet you just merged a whole country into one voice. Think about that.

This clip looks suspiciously like Columbia University when they invited Iranian president Ahmadinejad to speak, as well as thehysterical hyperventilating teeth-gnashing on the toob afterward. Orwell's "two-minutes of hate" is the face of contemporary America, threatening everybody who doesn't march in goosestep with them, ad nauseum, on the 24-hour cable tv newswers.

Not at all, what they say and what the " Stances " are, are two totally different things.You're right, the GOP has definitely drifted far from what they are suppose to be, that is why the party is shrinking and they have been loosing elections ( and are going to loose the white house )But what I am saying is, there is alot of blind support for both of them, more for Obama as we see. That is what I was directing my comment about.
