Hi Arye:)I don't have any experience with the JTAGICE and the devices you have bought. My understanding was that the JTAGICE was a on-chip debugging tool. It is a powerful tool with many features:) But as a freshman i would recommend the STK500 or newer card. It's not expensive and it's a good platform.Yeah I have replaced the site with a wiki, easier to maintain. At the moment the site is in Norwegian, but I am planning to translate it to English.- Thomas

Just bought an AVR JTAGICE mkII and a few ATmega644Ps and ATmega2560s. Is that alright as a beginning point?
