Great to hear such good live music again. Makes me nostalgic for my youth! I am 62.

Hmmm! I don't really agree. I think the haircut was Brian's take on originality, like an exageration of Rockabilly. i mean, Brian's vision was never to revive rockabilly, more- renew it, so the hairstyle was an exaggeration of the quiff. Or i'm a twat then? Mx

I saw the Stray Cats in the 90s in Fort Collins CO and was very impressed. High-energy show, ass-kicking guitar player Setzer is.

Great song "The train pulled into Memphis around 1955" I was 13 then and I have been rolling on it ever since!

Stray Cats hit it big in the early 80s and that was the new wave era. All the bands had that look then and I guess they had to follow suit. But the cats music was very different than the techno, new wave of the day.

Sounds VERY much like a countrysong called "I´m in love with you baby, (I don´t even know your name)"!!Belive it´s from Alan Jackson mabye? |
