I saw the Muses play twice and briefly met them at a music store autograph signing, all in the same weekend. It was during the "The Real Ramona" tour. Kristen was very preg, and a bit cranky. Tanya was sweet.

Incredible!! This song flew me *straight* back to '91 and my first big love. Phew! Top track this.

Por si alguna vez tankdyke se encuentra esto...quisiera recordarle que le agradezco las nuevas puertas de la estética musical conectadas a mi ser...

Narcizo is just a beast on the drums. Best left hand in rock 'n roll, ever.

gosh I would so love to see footage of these guys just hanging out like back stage or something - throwing muses were just amazing - way beyond their years!

I love you Kristin

Nothing for 2 months? Christ. You'll be sorry

They were very young. You're right, too, in that they didn't sound like anything before them. They weren't punk, they weren't new wave (but they do sound a bit like your moniker). Her new stuff (typing "her" is safe!) isn't bad, but I'd really like to see a return to the old Tanya.

No big (Kim) deal! (excuse the lousy pun). We forgive you Onlydreamin!Myself, i would like to add to the discussion that i find these girls awesome, they formed a band being SO young...and what a band! totally idiosyncratic, sounding like nothing that existed before...Some strange phenomenon must have occurred to the fabric of reality in Boston in those years, for the two probably greatest modern and very surrealistic bands, the Muses and Pixies, to happen.

the Pixies used to open for the Muses back in the day. |
