I'd say it's actually one of the easier ones. It is the inverted theme that Paganini originally wrote. You might to see the Wikipedia article on this piece for more about the inversion.But if I remember, 18th variation is not incredibly technical.

If I recall correctly, the 18th variation is something like the original Paganini theme played upside down. I'm not quite strong enough in music theory to understand how that works completely, but that is what I was taught. I hope that helps! Btw, excellent performance, and thanks for posting!

you can also use the un-nailed side of your thumb.Doesnt look as cool but i find it in some circumstances to be more reliable/resilient than your fingernails
