It's simple. In the end, Paul was there for you IF you really needed it AND IF you deserved it.He made you a somebody no matter who you where.Unlike Bischoff or Vince, you got shit gimmicks from them and if it didn't sell it was your fault no matter how shitty the idea was from THEM.
