This is a very good movie. The first big hit Mark Wahlberg. Burt is at this best and Julianne Moore is alwasy painfully good

Better than Goodfellas. Although shares some elements of martin scorses'e film making talents. Eg the Long takes. And the ending is very close to Raging Bull. Still is one of my favorite films ever. I love Paul Thomas Anderson. BEST FILM OF THE 90s
