This is the softest Aikido I've ever seen.Maybe I'm missing something. I used to work out with one of his students.I found his techniques useless and he called my techniques "destructive and brutal". He kept telling me if I felt Endo do them I would get it. Honestly, could another student of Endo explain how what this guy does translates into effective martial arts. Please reply.

It looks to me like hes rocked his tanden forward and is sitting on it. He drops heavy energy, body weight, into the mat and is extremely heavy. (Yang style Taichi).He moves Uke into his centre. Uke is moving and is easy to keep moving. Its like standing on the riverside and pulling a boat. It is easy to move.He is demonstrating manipulating centre and balance.In parts it must be very powerful.I think he is a true master and does not need brutality to manipulate the human form.
