I remember watching this live when I was younger, it was the first time I'd ever heard of Derren Brown and I was absolutely terrified for him. I actually didn't watch when he put the gun to his head, after the first one I stuck my head in a cushion lol.

I dunno if this is fake or not, but Derren did seem pretty nervous. Either he is a good actor, or he there really is a live bullet in there...

While i do believe that 99% of Derren's stuff is real, I am fairly confident that this one isnt. If it were me instead of that guy, I would have chosen number 3, because I like the number three, and I always pick the number three in situations where I have to pick a number. So, if this were real, he would have assumed that I picked "1" because of his hints, and he'd end up dead. Even with what marekmagyar about him going through 1-6, there are plenty of factors that could influence my tone.

3:17 he says Clear ly3:19 he says "i want u to choose ONE"3:22 he says "choose ONE"3:24 he says "this number you choose now"3:25 he says witch "ONE"3:32 he asked "are you thinking of ONE now? the guy replys "yea". That`s how the young guy subconsciously choose ONE. Later with the counting 1 to 6 Derren probably wanted to confirm by slight changes in the guys voice that number ONE. and the rest is just to make it little exciting. But well done anyway.Derren is top class.
