Mr. Leonard Bernstein is subject to any criticism anyone, even damned fools, has to offer --- regardless of whether or not he is your uncle, as you say. So, yeah, we can talk about him "that way." And you would be pretty ignorant to think otherwise.

Really? It's not too bad. Compared to his fucking up of numerous Ravel numers, George gets off lightly. Anyway, he keeps up the tempo, bit slow, but nothing too horrific.

While I find some of Bernstein's choices in tempo to be a bit overly deliberate, this is a fine performance of a great, great work.

Gershwin didn't even orchestrate this, he did write it for piano, though. It's a classic!
