While the talent cannot be denied, I really don't see a use for a bass this size. But I'm sure if he cn do this on a 11 string he could own a 4 string. I had a 5 string once, couldn't ever get the hang of it I mean, never used the top string, which I tuned to b. I traded it for a 4 string.
