Jeff is a monster on the kit, as his work with Paul Gilbert clearly demonstrates, and a heckuva teacher - just from his book and DVD, my double bass technique has improved tremendously. The way he emphasizes even development between the feet has really helped me.

One man. Nicko McBrain. He can do it with no bionic limbs lol, but actually the continual double bass is almost impossible. Nicko doesn't normally use double bass but is incredible all th same.

Jeff is one of the greatest Rock drummers working in the US today. I've played with him and he's a total pro! Rock on!!

In response to the original question, no; all you do is fake a horrible accident, saw off your dominant leg, and get fitted for a bionic replacement. The rest is pretty self-explanatory, with a few days of therapy and hydraulic modifications you'll be set to go. Of course, there's always the double bass option. But that's like cheating.

I meant doing it with one bassdrum.

i would guess so :) it is possible, but it sounds like a waste of energy.
