2 chinchillas THE SAME GENDER in the same cage is fine..make sure you have a nice cage ,,not one of those starter cages in Petsmart etcThey need to be in 65-75 max degreesno air blowing directly on them..they easily die from draftsno there is absolutely NOTHING to spray that will stop them from chewingcover wires with wire coverings, baseboards with cardboard

at the store the guy said to get two at the same timei was wondering if it would be okay to put them in the same cage because at the store they're in the same cage so i figured it would be okay because they are already fond of each otheri know for a fact that im getting onei just need your oppinionalso do u know how the air conditioning or a/c goes off and on and blows well i plan on them in my roomalso is there a spray you can use to prevent your chinchilla for chewing on stuff

I know about the maternal man feelings LOLNo ..you cant train a cat .,.its instinct and they are prey(chinchillas that is)I wouldnt take a chance,I have 2 dogs and if Im there they dont do anything to the chinnies, in fact they ignore themwhats funny is my chinchillas hassle the dogsits weird to see TIKI and Fur-nando make my Rottie run away.Nevertheless I would never ever let them be alone..Im always a few feet away.

I love your videos!! I got our chinchilla Cobalt from PetSmart for free because he was returned for biting. They said he was mean and would never be tamed and they would pick him up with gloves or catch him with a net!! We felt sorry for him and so we adopted him and it's been a month and he is very happy, such a sweetie, has never even bit us. He climbs all over me and even fell asleep on my husband the other day! Thank you for raising awareness about chinnies! |
