Interesting that you comment on Sylvia singing with him on this song, because she didn't on the original recording, which appeared on the Vanguard album, _So Much for Dreaming_, I believe. But she did add some nice harmony on the re-recording on the Columbia album, _Ian & Sylvia with David Wilcox_. Of course, even that was "years ago" at this point.

I like this song its so relaxed and not to melancholy. It has a very religious sound and where people can feel that something of the pride of America was remnant, as the loggers do their work.
