Many Christian preachers endorsed the Ham story as proof that American slavery was okay prior the Civil War. It's how honorable, prayerful men like Stonewall Jackson could honestly believe they were on God's side after the Emancipation Proclamation. I think a similar misconception about God's will could have occurred in Africa, but I don't know.Would anyone agree with me that al-Mansour's quote being out of context is wrong? Anyone at all? Liberal or conservative?
