Most abortions are statistically not to save lives.If a baby is in the philopian tubes (sorry about spelling) or is causing other problems in which both parties will die, then it is nesecary to save the lives that we can.

That child is not your body, in many cases mother and child have difffrent blood types. and if they shared blood, the baby might die. A 0+ blood type baby can not take blood from a A+ blood type mother.

Few want an abortion simply because they want one. It is most likely, you want an abortion because of prejudice in the world, work place, family, religion, against unwed mothers or prejudice against those who give thier kids up for adoption. And in that case you haven't exercised free choice. You felt YOU HAD ABORT because you are too weak to stand up to a world that treats pregnant woman like dirt. Most who practice "pro-choice" are practicing "pro-fear"
