Interesting fact:Before the Mormons were driven out of USA (1846) by the predecessor's of today's Anti-Mormons - they quickly finished building the temple in Nauvoo, Illinois. They didn't start their march west towards the Salt Lake Valley until they received the sacred temple ordinances.Historians often point out this unique practice of the Mormon pioneers: they would plant potatoes, etc. on their way so that those who would follow them could have food.We - LDS - see the connection.

Holiness to the Lord, The House of the Lord. To feel the Spirit in the Temple is to feel Gods love for all his children. I am only ever at home when I'm in the Temple.

*Joseph Smith was a Freemason. If you find out what Freemasonry is (ask Freemasons - not those who spread lies and unfounded rumors about this great brotherhood) - you will realize there is nothing wrong with joining them.*Freemasons - or their predecessors copied some temple rites from the temple of Solomon. Prophet J. Smith simply brought back their original meaning.*J. Smith was a polygamist. He did not live with any of his wives that were minors (check - "dynastic marriages").

When called to serve as a Mission President in Canada, the Monsons,left there home and served.Over 100 temples built over a decade is nothing short of an miracle. "HOW GREAT THOU ART" indeed the houses of the Lord.

yes, and i am sure that God and Christ are just so much more proud of how well you stand up for these other churches through your language. i am sure he loves that you seem so hateful to the others who like you want to love their own sacred places in peace. i am sorry you feel this way. and i have seen Notre Dame, its very beautiful.

ok, we read the king james version of the bible. which happens to be the least tampered with bible that exists. I have a question for you, would you rather worship your god with the least precious materials or with the best you could get your hands on. they did not have glorious temples like these, but they built them with the greatest materials that they could accquire.

Joseph Smith was NOT a mason and there is no evidence supporting that he is.Smith was NOT married to anyone but his wife emma and all who claim to have been children of his "other wives" have been proven liars by DNA testing.Monson did not serve a mission because he was in the army fighting for america during World War 2 he is a great example for mormons.The church is serious and you my friend are the joke if you believe your own post

Joseph Smith was masson and copied from them all rituals. Joseph Smith married to young girls (14 and 16 years old).Mr. Monson, dido not serve a mission when he was young.
