BMW are out of my good books as far as design is concerned, I don't know what the blokes in Bavaria are up to, but the new 7-series is a massive let down, especially after I saw some sketches a few months ago of a much more radical design. I agree there is a problem with acceptance, I liked how Mercedes pulled it off, after shocking people with the twin lights on the E-class, they adapted it for the next model whilst improving the design; Mercedes have overtaken BMW in design now.

haha, sorry, I meant the 240 basically stayed the same for the 19 years, with changes to the headlights and choice of engines that's about it...With any new car comes the risk of acceptance... like the controversial 7-series BMW design. And yet, yesterday I saw the nextgen 7-series is hard to get used to. I mean, the oversized radiator grille that extends into the bumper..... |
