using Ubuntu? For wireless fedora is the best :) but compiling isn't so bad. just a few dependencies here and a few commands there.

Yes but vista supports directX10, that linux won't do.

lol I have to agree linux is by far the good OS to have for some things but people don't like vista for the same reason people didn't like XP. The reason is that some don't like change and whenever there is a change some refuse to accept it soon enough people will see that Vista is a good OS as XP was too. Accept Vista as they did XP many liked windows 2k better but then got used to change. People need to accept change Vista is a good OS.

Ok... I don't know what you were doing with Ubantu... But I want to do it too. Where do you get it? I am currently looking into Linux as an alternative to windows Vista (aka colon blow). your thoughts? You look like you know how to use it, hence why I ask.
