yes he hit her he admitted it, but was sorry he did it, wrote songs about it-'jealous guy' and said in his 'peace' phase it was ironic because he wanted peace for the world but couldn't have it in his own life.but think about his life, his parents gave him up, his uncle who helped raise him died, his mum and best mate then died,he shot suddenly from nothing to world glory,was too immature to deal with it because he had such a shit background. there's no excuses, but life was fucked up for him.

he thought he was better than the other beatles and that only his songs should be a sides i like up till about 1965 and the way he treated his first wife was terrible sure he was great musicly but as a person after about 1965 anyway he wasnt that great
