Alright alright... And to that I just have to add: You are not serving HIM, you are serving YOU, and therefore, it's not serving, it's being driving by love. God is not a person nor any sort of being, I believe he is simply the love and happiness in all of us.

Dear Abno6,yes you are right. Nothing else did I say. Out of love I want to please and serve HIM. Not because HE is demanding it, but because I love HIM. He also protects those who not at all believe in HIM. This is unconditional love.

Reagarding the relationship to the LORD terms like SLAVE and MASTER does not appear. The relationship is parental. He is the loving Father and I am HIS child. Its true that the LORD does not need any pleasing or flattery. But the devotee out of his deep love for HIM wants to do so. And finally he will forget his small "I" and will merge with HIM. Maybe one could reach the same goal through other means. But I am a devotee and I prefer to do it so. And I do not mind when you don't understand me.

There should only ONE answer to that. "By realising that YOU are your lord, and that there is no other".The lord loves everyone right? Why would he ever ask you to please him over and over again? That's not showing love, that just showing how much you can be his SLAVE. Not to mention, that the LORD needs no pleasing, because he is a freakin God, and not an emperor.... Somewhere along the line, people forgot that being a slave and believing in God are not the same things.....
