Wow, it is so blatantly obvious here that Edward has not beaten his drug and/or alcohol addiction. I feel really bad. What a major talent he would remain if he could just kick the booze.

well - if anyone can play what he does at 1:46 then whack in those three harmonics at 1:51-1:52 just at the drop of a hat like he does, post a video response to prove he was sloppy!!

I beg to differ, George benson..up in years is STILL one of the best guitarist on the planet,as is Alan Holdworth even michaelschenker (when hes sober) ,they are all in their late 50s-60s and just get better with age.

doyle brunsen is way past his prime, he's what? 76? i think he was the first to win 11 WSOP bracelets (in the last few years), then johhny chan won 11, then phil helmuth won 11 or something like that.yes, ed is not 100% all the time anymore but, he's still pretty damn close. ed is not an athlete, neither is doyle.

He's definitely playing sloppy. Yeah, it's Eddie. Yeah he's great. Yeah he's the man. The best? Debatable. Props for defending him for sure, but this is sloppy. Of course, he is past his prime. A legend indeed, but legends don't stay at their prime. Ask Michael Jordan. For the record, I really enjoyed this video, and I enjoy his playing, but I'm in no way a hardcore Eddie fan. |
