In case no one else has pointed this out it appears to be fake, if you notice when the call is being tested at the end the call is connected on the transmitting handset for a number of seconds but the recieving one isn't ringing....just putting it out there.

No, the point is it prevents people who dial *67 from being able to block their number from showing up. What he did was take the caller ID info and prefix it with "900" before the privacy bit so the phone (or other caller ID device) won't see the privacy bit set and it will display the number with the 900 before it. Using a 3 digit number like 900 makes it really easy to spot when a caller purposely tries to block you from getting their number with *67. All other calls ID come through as normal.
