Oh, and great video, I was always wondering how to get 6 fingers down on the strings :p

Depends on what you want to learn. They are right that it would be a better base to learn off acoustic, but it isn't that big of a deal. But if you're like me and don't have any money to spare getting another guitar a few months down the line when you want to play metal music, I'd recommend electric.

if i had it to do again, (buying my first guitar, that is) i would buy an archtop, or acoustic electric. you have some of the tone of an acoustic, and the option to plug it in. get the best you can afford without buying something that is too nice to play. keep it out in the room you hang out in the most, dont put it away in a closet. then play it every chance you get...

acoustic guitar is harder to play, but if you practice that first, then it will make it easier for you to play an electric guitar, so I suggest that you go for an acoustic for starters. But still, if you start with an electric, I wouldnt be much of a problem.

at a-type barrés (in this case both c-chords) you should mute the 6th string or just dont hit it. i think he forgot to say that.by the way: vog(e)l means bird in german. :)

depends, yeah. But I started out with an acoustic then I gotr a electric so I play both. It's a good combo. I think you should go for that.

Hi,It depends on your interest.Acoustic is a great starter cuz the srtings are tougher so you build your calluss faster..then you can moveo n to electric..I just got started a month ago on acoustic! And I tried playing the electric for a bit..it's easier on the fingers :)Hope this helps |
