Tablet Pc's introduced in 2008 all have Wacom-enabled activie digitisers, which are comparable with the previous line from Wacom. I guess they can be compared with the intuos1 or 2, which were good enough back then. So I don't see a reason why they couldn't be good enough right now (some amazing stuff has been made on tablets, even back then :D )

I know that WACOM has some of their stuff inside other products. Like some notebooks have a touchpad wich contains material from WACOM. Maybe some tablet PCs will have WACOM technology aswell. I guess we will see what the future brings us :)

The Axiotron ModBook actually does contain an Intuos3, but of course it won't stack up against the actual CINTIQ. Either one is quite an incredible tool.

It's a drawing tablet with a screen that plugs into a computer. There are tablet Pc's and the upcomming Apple Modbook, but they do no really stack up to the Cintiq or intuous3 if you're going to be doing professional graphics work

It is a smudge guard for about $15/€10 or for a cheaper amount when you get a glove and cut out the other fingers :PThe screen does have a protective coating, but a guard like this can't hurt...

I first thought it was a glove that allowed you to turn, slide and select the images but I Don't think it does that XDI think it's meant to actually protect the very expensive screen. Because this is like drawing on those 3000$ HD TVs. You know, liquid crystal stuff.

OMG Fancy! 8-{D That glove thing you put on... Is that necessairy with all tablets? And if so, does it come with the tablet?

I see what you're saying about the smaller size. I have the 20wsx, which I feel is perfect for me, but I wouldn't mind the 12wx either-or a Modbook(a third party Mac tablet!) |
