This actually sounds very true to the recording, but Phil's voice is a lot more whiny live apparently :) Still a great song though!

Phil wrote this in 1981 during his break up with his wife..That is true..Now, the theory this is about the lifeguard that didnt help his friend when a young boy has been around for years..never confirmed by Phil.Also in a concert, the lifeguard was there and Phil dedicated this song to him and he died 3 weeks later..Again...not confirmed. Phil did alot for Buddy Rich after he died Thanks Phil for all you do
