its damn real(no shit).japanese thought that spiderman wouldnt be so attractive to jp audience if he was an ordinary human.so in the shiw spiderman is an alien from the planet SPIDER(these jp people are really creative)and as any other alien that respects itself he has a robot.i am not joking dude that story is real(unfortunately)

OK! I've had it with these idiots comparing Spider-Man to Power Rangers. Those who actually want to learn something should read this! In 1978 Japanese movie/TV company Toei; wanted to do a new tokusatsu show, an adaptation of Spider-Man and they got the go ahead from Marvel. Tey added a giant robot as the Japanese loved robots. Toei and Marvel would work together again for 1979's Battle Fever J; the first official 'Super Sentai' show, which of course became Power Rangers later.
