I spent 7 years attending a school (Detroit Waldorf) that asked us to abstain from TV. I didn't like this at the time. Looking back, I'm glad they did this. Perhaps the world would be better if parents simply treated ALL TV as X-rated and told the kids they could watch on their 18th birthday.
