wow they are a lot louder than I thought

Ahh, I misunderstood you. Your previous comments made it seem that I was making a mistake changing the different tips. You're correct about not releasing the trigger at that time. You say you're here to give helpful advice. That's just not true. I went to your channel, and as much as I hate to say it, your one of the tens of thousands of invisible people here. Your channel is empty. No videos, no listing of your credentials, no name, no nothing. Channel your energy into videos, not words.

"How in the world would you know watching this video whether or not the trigger was squeezed?"I used my super duper 20:20 vision at 1:57.My eyes can cut through b.s like a red tip does fingers after watching one of your videos.People wouldn't need the safety manual if you renamed your video "what not to do". Look Tim, if people do what you did in the video they will damage their pump and leave the gun dangerous. I'm here to give helpful advice, why are you here?

Are you an actor on Heros? Do you have some super power us mere mortals don't possess? How in the world would you know watching this video whether or not the trigger was squeezed? Do you think it's possible we shot the B-roll shots of changing the tips when the machine was *off* and not bothering the videographer? Once again, I urge you to watch the video again where I begged the viewers to read and follow all safety instructions in the video.

Hi Tim, The problem is that it doesn't matter you turned the machine off because you never squeezed the trigger to relieve the pressure. Its still loaded for a final burst of spray.Gloves won't even slow down the red tip. Just be careful changing tips, on or off. Treat all wands/guns as if they are loaded. The red tip is better demonstrated cutting branches off trees than brick pavers. Its also dangerous too the pump to start or stop without holding the trigger.otherwise, great video!

Thanks for your comment. I'm confused. I say at the beginning the tool is dangerous. At 0:46 I insert the zero-degree tip with the tool off and gloves on. At 0:58 I tell everyone to READ the manual and follow all safety instructions. Nowhere in the video do I touch the red zero-degree tip with the tool on.

I just want to point out.. again.. hold the trigger down when you turn off the engine. If you don't, the back pressure can ruin the pump. Also, don't ever touch the red tip... unless you want to cut something or somebody in half. Do not do as he did in the video with the red tip. no offense Tim, but things this dangerous should be left to professionals. (or at least don't lead people on to think you are one in this field)

I don't use one for that purpose. I've tried to do it on many occasions in the winter at the self-clean car washes and the tools *never* get the car clean. There's always a thin layer of dirt it can't remove. If you want a clean car, you need to hand wash it. If you disagree and are a pressure-washer by trade, bring your machine to my office and we'll do a video of you and I washing my car. I'm curious as to why you asked this question.

do you wash your car with a pressure washer? if you do, then which tip do you use for your car.

I'm pressure washing my back porch, but I can't due to 3 inch black wasps, and me being alergic to them. I have to wait until it gets cold out at about 5:00
