springfield is ok.. but i left my "plastic" glock..(majure).. in my barn Intentionally no case no box for a year and a half. and yes,moisture was present. picked it right up right where i left off wiped it with my shirt and fired just fine bub"..mater of fact shot a robber/intruder with it on may 18,2008 at 12:45 his name was JESSY AGIRRE.

i love the fact that he's using a glock while he's standing right next to an M60E... I'd take that over any handgun out there.

i'm with springfield. Glocks are ok... but there are many other pistols that are alot better. The desert eagle is built well.. but too overpowered. to me, the 1911 is possibly the best handgun out there right now, they are reliable, powerful... and overall, and perform when you need them to... i dont know about you... but i'm not trusting my life with a plastic handgun...

do some research buddy, read about all the torture tests that they did to the 1911. read about the 40,000 non stop rounds they put through the 1911. im not sayin that the glock is a bad gun cause its not, im just sayin that research will tell you that the 1911 is one of the best guns ever designed
