much more "lighter" than their earlier records, but still amazing.

... At least for my youth... I remember "So Young" and amazingly it impressed me at least as much as 'Smells Like Teen Spirit!!! Oasis was good back then, but I felt Suede was GREAT. Hope they continue to make music, or Mr. Anderson at least! The lyrics... His singing style... It's like if I could waved a magic band and create a band that works perfectly for me, this would hv been it. (Still need Radiohead, PJ, Madge, Corky etc. etc. etc. though as well...;))Okay I'll shut up now.

I'm not posting text comments "officially" anymore bc I don't wanna argue with "some ppl", but I must say regarding your comments that I don't know anymore if the band is together NOW. They split up, and then reformed, and then split, and reformed... ad infinitum... ;) I don't know what the situation is now, we'd better ask Brett (hehe)... However, even if Suede or Brett will never release any music again (which I doubt very much) they've already made history. Soundtrack for a generation...CONT.

Suede was a great band. It´s a damn shame they split up :(

They're together again? :D Brill! Haven't listened to any of Brett's solo stuff so don't know how good it is, but usually it tends to be better in bands than when they go solo. But that's just my opinion! |
