linux isnt slow, its just that this phone is still in development, the software can be updated ofcourse, the only difference is that the user themseves can do it, unless your a lazy wintendo user, where you just moan and moan until a more expensive "better" model comes out, if thats the case buy an HTC phone will the almighty windows mobile bullshit on it.

I can't believe my comment got trashed. Anyway, I just tried the iPhone. The calendar function SUCKS, and entering text is AGONIZINGLY SLOW, even after a few days after I got faster. Entering text on my old Treo was LOTS faster. So no, I don't like the iPhone.

But as nuke said, it's under development. It's clearly said that this phone is not yet ready for use by the general public. The website even clearly states that the softwares incompleteness allows for only a 1 day battery life. I feel you should be properly informed before calling something stupid.

So I take it you don't like Iphone either?

the point of commenting is to give an honest opinion about it. He may not like it but he has a valid reason not to--although he could be a little less brash about it.

....if you dont like it dont buy it, its in development. Also its open source, I could really care less, but OSS is usually cheap and better. Have fun with vista ;)

Stupid, because if you want a portable handheld computer, you'd buy just that. This phone's hardware is slow and running slow Linux on top of it isn't going to fare any better. Watch a video of this phone booting up, it's hilarious.

No physical QWERTY? It belongs in the trash.
