Yeh, if I remember right this was 100% improvised. Just like the best of Jazz.I remember he also played one of the hardest classical pieces ever, a Bartok piece, and classical critics said he played it flawlessly. Not many pianists have can even attempt to master both Jazz and Classical like Jarret.

Great concerts but he never played this particular music as a whole anywhere except when it was recorded

the music is the music. there is no video of the concert, thankfully as the always changing video is created anew in the I-pod of your mind, hearts and nature around us.
