After all, the men responsible for the tragedy of 9-11 were Saudis (except for 2) led by a group of Suadis like Osama Bin Laden who's family has major ties to not only the Saudi Royal Family but the Bush Family as well. I just think maybe the discussion needs to move into the discussion of the religious zealots' (and i mean most Judeo-Christian religions like Judaism, Christianity and Islam) fundamentalists' views on not only the role of women, but the intolerance and hate they teach as well.

Rania, my major concern is with Afghanistan & Saudi Arabia's continued adherence to outmoded religious laws. Saudi women are still not even allowed to drive a car or choose to wear traditional or modern clothing. In Afghanistan it is still a struggle for women to get an education. I think Wahabism is to blame and obviously the Suadi have more than embraced and fueled this tradition with the Saudi royals connected to this long standing tradition of intolerance to the West. continued next.....
