No, I'm not god. Just a rational human being, who has looked at a lot more evidence than you have and has come to the only logical conclusion based on that evidence. There is no afterlife. You only live the short time you're here, and then you're gone.Don't worry. It won't hurt.Just a return of your atoms to the soil. Sorry to break it to you. You don't get a post-life cookie for being a good person. You have to want to do it because it benefits yourself and society.

Sorry, no.You really need to brush up on biblical history. The "Luke" you speak of lived a generation after the supposed events. And if he were an eyewitness, was he there at the birth of Jesus? With all the angels and such? I hardly think so.It's classic mythological writing. Just like Mithra, etc. But since you'd be "empty" without the myth, you cling to these irrational beliefs.I feel sorry for you, really I do.

"If you're talking post-corporeal accountability, there is no such thing. Every bit of evidence we have indicates there is no afterlife, no soul, and no post-life reward or punishment. "Oh, I see, you're god! You must be to make an absolute, all knowing statement as that.

The beauty of the Xtian preaching was that, for the first time, EVERYONE had a pathway to heaven. It was a radical idea, and the illiterate superstitious masses were ripe for it. After all, the dominant religions of the day preached that everyone except a favored few -- if that, went to Hades (or oblivion). Hardly compelling. So, give Xtianity its due. The concept was brilliant. It's no wonder they were branded as revolutionaries and persecuted.

The eyewitness testimony is in the Bible itself. Luke who wrote Luke and Acts interviewed eyewitnesses. People that knew Jesus. John also the writer of John, his letters, and revelation admits seeing, holding Him. Mark most likely knew Jesus and was heavily influenced in his writings by Peter. There's tons of evidence that you refuse to accept so you can go on and live as you'd like in your sin. Repent and believe.Jesus died for your self rightesness. He loves you.

Except you haven't offered any proof, other than a baseless assertion, found only in the bible, that JTB knew Jesus and/or was related to him. There is no other evidence for those so-called 'facts'.You don't know anything about preponderance of evidence, do you? There's not only not a preponderance of evidence for Jesus, there's no evidence AT ALL.The early Xtians were persecuted because they were revolutionaries -- radicals with a dangerous notion.

I know the earliest Christians were heavily persecuted and died for there faith in Jesus Christ. If you admit John the B was real then you are admitting to Jesus Christ was a real person who claimed to be the Messiah because Johns mission was to proclaim the Messiah. Not only that, John was a cousin to Jesus. They knew each other. You just spout off, "Jesus never existed" with your so called proof, and I say He did exist with my proof, but I'm wrong and your not. Why?

It's his only argument. He argues that because you can't know with 100% certainty that the BB happened, that means you MUST believe in a literal garden with naked retards and talking snakes and IQ-raising sin-fruit. God of the gaps argument. Quite annoying, frankly, because he never proposes exactly what HE believes in, only that you can't know with 100% certainty what 500 years of science tells us. Mad. Barking mad.

No. Jesus never existed...at least, the vast majority of the evidence suggests that at best he's a composite character of the many messianic preachers around that time. John the Baptist is probably one of models for Jesus -- at least him, we know he existed. There's extra-biblical records of his execution. For Jesus, nothing. Nada. Bupkis.Outside of the fairy stories in the bible. You do know the earliest Christians didn't think he was corporeal, right? At least know your own mythology.

Seems you atheist like to push the "New Testament writers had the Old Testament so lets make Jesus fit in" theory. So Jesus, who you claim never existed, all of the sudden does exist, and they made Him fulfill over 300 prophecys? They just made his life fit? What was Jesus motive for doing this? He certainly couldn't enjoy any sucess. And why did He reject them when they wanted to hail Him as King?
