I wanted to mention that Amy and Vince had an on-going affair in the 90s while they were both each still married to their first spouses, before they got divorced and remarried. The whole affair, divorce, remarriage was completely adulterous and it DESTROYED two families. I cannot imagine that Amy's first husband (Gary) or Vince's first wife (Janis) or their children, are very happy about this. It was a very sad, regretable thing that Amy & Vince did.Shame on them both.

i love this song. Its one of my favorite christmas songs and i sing it for my church every year and they love it. i love amy grant too

Even though this was the first version of the song that became popular, I still prefer the original version by David Foster and Natalie Cole (released on Foster's 1990 album "River of Love" - two years before this remake by Amy Grant). You can hear that original version elsewhere here on YouTube.

I absolutely love this song. I stumbled upon it when searching for some Christmas music last year. It's my favorite Christmas song now. This song is truly beautiful and shows the true meaning of Christmas.
