If bias bothers you, the number of Americans who think Bush is a liar and should be impeached is about 2-3 to 1 right now. You will never hear about that on Fox News, or any of the other 3 media conglomerates that control the news cycle. That is because they are the same people making money off this war. That is why they supported it in the beginning and continue to do so.

Typical liberal method. Attack with 3 against one. She held her own quite well. Too bad they wouldn't let her speak.

She is lying about the John Hopkins report, and she knows it. It is exactly the same type of analysis used in every other similar circumstance, from Darfur to Bosnia. In fact, it was the same group that provided some of the figures used then. There are no experts supporting her position that the study is flawed. The results are being published in a premier English Academic Journal, the Lancet.

I never knew Ben Affleck was so intelligent. Great job Ben!!

I think VH1 should do a special on how successful Spanky from "The Little Rascals" became. Lou Dobbs is a child actor gone right.

Affleck, that idiot was telling everyone to go vote when the fool didn't even have a voters registration card. Shut up and go make some more awful movies so I can laugh at you.

Pletka also continued unwavering support for Ahmed Chalabi despite the contradictions of his assertions. Additionally, she is following an unpragmatic thesis in confronting Iraq. As a political theorist for groups with a disreputable, solipistic strategy and foundation, her aggressive stance was over the top and intellectually vacuous.

Pletka's unwavering support, even in the aftermath of Chalabi's schemes are fairly well known. Her number cited as part of the deaths under Saddam did not specify the totals resulting from the Iran/Iraq War (that's the one where members of the Reagan Administration gave support to Husein while selling arms to Iran), the First Gulf War, or the years under sanctions with periodic air raids. Saddam's no saint, but she fails to analyze her figures accordingly.

2artanis, I've already gone over this. Unfortunately some people will only see what they want to see. If the facts don't convince you then nothing will. When the totals from the Iran Iraq war are put in the estimate jumps to around 2 million dead. I've had my say here and will close down the comments so you guys can go back to the Daily Kos. Sorry I have to work during the day. I will post links for you to follow up on. |
