I like both versions...other than the lyrics, they are both very different, Lennon's is more hopeful..and this version is darker

I like how APC's remake of Lennon's classic expresses a completely different mood to the original. Most remakes I've heard of any song have always been simply jazzed up with a faster rhythm and better sound quality, and yet nothing actually being done to change the message the first song wished to communicate. Lennon's Imagine was so full of hope and optimism, whereas this remake seems like we're already too late, stuck in a grinding routine of war and ignorance.

Life is NOT meaningless!There are in nature always these perfect circles, circles that live for ever. Like the rain, the clauds, etc. etc.. Same goes with bacteria's, dead creatures, plants, etc... If one chain in this circle would be gone(if one specie would die) then the circle is broken..

Righteous acts...pleasure...extasy, you name it. So if life really is meaningless, than should we simply do whatever we want, without a care in the world? Without giving a fuck what other people think and without caring about our children?

This remake fits better to the 21st century than the Lennon version. The feeling of hope becomes the strongest when it is under oppression, not during a fuckin optimistic hippie movement.
