What people don't seem to understand, is that if we pull out right now, we leave ourselves in the same position that we did a few years ago. We need to take care of the sitiuation before we leave and set up some form of government or diplomatic understanding that we will not have to deal with another 9/11.

Now to me, it sounds like the most logical way to get out of both wars is to do like a Vietnamization-type deal. Where we pull so many troops out of there every week or every month and replace them with Iraqi and Afghan troops until we are completely out of there. Otherwise where does this war end? We keep staying there and staying there until we lose so many hundred thousand American lives? It isn't worth it.

CIA was also stupid for teaching those people how to make makeshit explosve devices. Because now all those people that the CIA taught are coming from other countries to attack our troops. CIA taught all those people how to make them in order to sabatoge the Russians in Afghanistan. Not to mention, both wars lack direction. We don't really have any goals over there besides occupation. Where does it end? Look how Vietnam ended up. I don't wanna see more Americans die there.

I don't like any war, but I felt that Afghanistan was the correct action to take, assuming that 9/11 was indeed a terrorist attack and not an inside job, which I highly doubt it is. But now look. They have gone into a country without trying diplomacy and under false pretenses in order to basically secure our oil. CIA were the ones who put Hussein in power in the 1st place. Now Iraq is going to turn into exactly what Afghanistan became after the Russians left.

I am a fucking idiot? Why? Because I oppose an unjust war? Let me tell you something. If McCain gets elected, do you think he will ever leave Iraq? What is the point of that war anyway? When 9/11 happened, our goal was to get Bin Laden, who was being harbored by Afghanistan. The war in Afghanistan was unerfunded and undersupplied so that they could go into Iraq and get the "WMDs" that we never found. We have completely forgotten all about Afghanistan. Its Iraq's freedom so let them fight for it.
