Very unfortunate, it ultimately it will get worse, what differs from other countries that have faced an economic collapse, such as Argentina is that they actually owned their homes, not the Ghost type of ownership in america (on title, but heavily indebted). I read your statement about skid row, both my father and brother sell produce wholesale in the local wholesale markets near skid row, now even the dumped produce is being purchased, meaning less will be diverted to the shelters.

For years I have been witnessing the engineered economic destruction of this country. I knew 4 yrs ago and was laughed at by people for telling them the banks were gonna DELIBERATELY DESTROY THE economy for WEALTH CONSOLIDATION . with all due respect, you have no idea what you are talking about. our governor inherited this mess...he was not the cause. the budget deficit was thrown into his lap. before you start playing the blame game, you should check your facts...one big part of the state deficit is people not paying their property taxes...about 300k people...thats about 1/3 of the hit...and all that started in the 2004 time frame. not trying to start a flame war, but its misguided to blame arnold. |
